Its been about a month since my surgery. I can finally poop without pain and sit down. But its like i still have the hemorrhoids that were supposedly removed. I still cant wear my thongs because the area is still sensative .they are itchy too .... is all this normal .... so far i was still better off before the surgery ... will they ever go away and stop itching and being swollen 😔
Do try warm water with salt. Indeed it will stop itching and swollen. Do not use soap on this sensitive area. Eat veg and fruit do not eat bananas. I had piles surgery also one month ago. Doctor's gave me only 14days antibiotic and some painkiller.
Right now i don't have anymore pain and no itching don t feel i had surgery one month ago.
I'm on day 5 recovery. I only had internal hemorrhoids though. Yesterday's BM was by far the worst, but today pain has been much better. BM definitely hurt but not like some forums say. I've been eating high fiber, and moving around, which I think is speeding up my recovery. Stick to trying to be as normal as possible like before you had the surgery, change your diet and stick with the new diet, and move around/exercise. That's what I've read will help and so far has been helping me speed up my recovery.
How is everything going for u barbara? Since its been 4 months. I had surgery 12 days ago and still have some pain during BM but not like the firet day. My stool has to be really soft to pass through almost watery. It feels really tight and I was wondering if its because it’s swollen? Please let me know how ur recovery went?
