Hello all! A few months ago I posted on the forum about my bowel movements. I went to the doctors and discovered I had a kidney stone in my left kidney, so for anyone that read that, my pain is being caused from that.
Anyways, I'm still having bleeding and bowel movement problems, and have a GI appointment in the beginning of July - until then, I have to tough whatever this is out.
Firstly, I get blood only sometimes - if it's a lot, it will usually be darker, but if not it's usually bright. Secondly, I tend to go to the bathroom 3-4 times a day, and 90% of the time it's always at night, around the same time (anywhere from 9-2am). It doesn't wake me up once I'm asleep though. I can go through work without having any pains or urges to go - when I get home, that changes. My stool also changes around a lot - my first time going in a day, it is usually "normal" so to speak, and the rest it's not exactly diarrhea, but soft.
Secondly, I can get a look at what I see when I hover over a mirror and strain a little bit (after going, of course) - kind of like a circular, reddish mass, and the best way to describe it would be (I'm sorry) a flower blossom? I've looked it up and found the word "rosette" as well. They're a pinkish/reddish color, and you can see blood on some of the parts, say if I'm straining. It's just odd to me because I assumed a hemorrhoid would just be weird, round lumps.
So, until July 5th, does anybody know what this is? I don't think hemorrhoids cause urges to go (and it's especially weird it's always at night around the same time). Sorry if this is TMI, but I suffer from anxiety and none of this is helping with that.
Thank you.
