then it might be a anal fibroepithelial polyp, I have been told by the nhs that I have hems and for 6 years I was treated for hems until I decided to go private and guess what? anal fissure plus the polyp. The doctor said it’s not cancer so I trust him. I am having surgery for anal fissure plus the removal of the polyp on the 6th of november and will send the polyp for testing. I am hoping it’s not cancer but I have been tested in february by the nhs for anal cancer and it was negative so fingers crossed they didn’t misdiagnosed me, which I doubt that as in this years I would know if I have cancer. At the moment I have health anxiety which is normal because there are only 2 weeks until the surgery plus the general anesthetic OMG … I am terrified. My advice is to go to a colorectal doctor and have it checked and eliminate the doubts.
