hi,
does anyone take any herbal supplements to help with the pain associated with gallstones?

Just took cocodamol 30/500 which worked well, although the iv paracetamol in hospital worked better. Cant think of any herbal remedies although some sufferers would use a hot water bottle to ease it.

I believe the only thing that can settle down the pain is what you eat, or vomiting.
After vomiting it was near instant relief but of course I never ate anything for a few days which was probably why the pain went.

Hi I have been taking Soya Lecithin for some years but this was for Cholesterol as I am near diabetes stage 2. Lol I go through the same routine every year, they want me on Statins and I refuse, we come to a middle of the road with that. I do not mind taking something near herbal but Statins are bad in my view, especially as I believe Cholesterol is a money making fad for drug companies. I did not know it helped with Gall Bladder.
