Herbalist treatment for hypothyroidism?

Anybody on here try it? I'm fed up of the normal meds (which so far do not work and cause lots of side effects). I always take the homeopathic or natural route as a first step so it's really feeling like I'm not doing the right thing for me taking levothyroxine.

Thats very interesting, what homepathic tablets do you take as i find what the doctors give you are not always very good.

I Would also like to find alternatives to the synthetic drug I have got a lot of hair thinning within the first two weeks of starting my treatment with T3/T4 .

i watch all the YouTube doctors . My symptoms worsen under emotional stress or my interpretation of the world. Trying to help my cortisol levels and adrenals. Eating clean. Dropped coffee no gluten. Sugar us the worst. 

would be nice to live drug free. Within three years these drugs will change my thyroid to such a point I won't be able to live without them . 

I wish I could help more.

There are many homeopathic remedies for hashimoto's hypothyroiditis - google it and you'll see. I however feel more comfortable going to a qualified homeopath (who's also a dr). I'm currently looking for a herbalist and if I don't find one, then a homeopath.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood but did you say you are taking synthetic thyroxine?

I am u sure as to what you man by within three years thse drugs will change my thyroid to sucha point that I won't be able to live wthout them. 

Plese would you explain/expand  on the above on this  very important point. Many thanks

I would also like to know where you got the 3yr timespan and why the meds would deteriorate your thyroid. I thought that without the meds the thyroid would obliterate itself because the body would not be functioning properly.

Can you tell me how you are helping your cortisol and adrenals? I think I suffer from adrenal issues but my endocrinologist totally negated any connection - telling me its a different part of the body. ! There goes my trust in this endo!
