I've had BV for over a year and it sucked. I know how bad it feels. No matter what I did to cover the smell or cure it, nothing worked. I didn't want to use anitbiotics, and I wanted a natural treatment. I had overlooked it for so long and it was just staring me in the face. Guess what it was? Drinking lots of water! I know it may sound simple but it's backed by science! Water helps flush out acidity inside you and some of the bad bacteria down there. I have noticed an amazing improvement. I still have a little discharge but it's barely there! And, best of all, the smell is gone! All this happened in a few days. Imagine what the benefits would be if I did this even longer. I also took 5 CFU probiotics (I know, not much) everyday, removed as many causes of stress as I could from my lifestyle (stress can induce or even worsen BV). I am very satisfied with the end result. It still doesn't seem real that I cured BV! I can't believe it! I promised myself to go share my story when I got rid of this awful disease, and now I'm here, typing away! I never thought this day would come. Now, here's how to cure YOUR bv. Yeah, I know, you're thinking thos may not work for everyone. It will. What you have to do is tackle your ROOT CAUSE. That may be wiping wrong, worrying constantly, bad lifestyle habits, etc. It may be the tampons you're using (full of chemicals) or douching, even smoking. It would be anything. Now, you have to approach your root cause the right way. Depending on what it is, maybe stop douching, or use better tampons (or better yet, no tampons while you're trying to cure your bv), or stop worrying so much. Now that you've eliminated your root cause, your BV may go away by itself. But for some people, it won't. Now, you have to heal your body. Drink plenty of water, get rest, switch panties often, eat antifungal and antibacterial herbs, eat only fresh foods, preferably organic (eggs, lettuce, bananas, etc). In the end, you should be, for the most part, BV free.
