I have been diagnosed with genital herpes. My first outbreak was last year and I haven’t had one since. But recently I’ve been having pain every time I use the bathroom to poop. It stings and it is itchy. I’ll shower and the stinging/itchy feeling goes away, until I have to use the bathroom again. Now I know that they say if you already have herpes and you have an open wound that you should be care ful because it could be an outbreak or it could be easier to spread with an open wound. Well at least that’s what I think they say. I’m just super confused, if I do have an anal fissure and am already diagnosed with herpes does that mean that the anal fissure is herpes?
theres a possibility, but better to get tested. Did you do recently any sexual contact.?

I already have genital herpes and I had sex with my boyfriend about two days ago. But I was just wondering if an anal fissure for someone who has herpes is it also consider a herpes outbreak or just a regular anal fissure that can go away in a few days or would I have to take my herpes pill to make it go away?
Not necessarily, but it can't be ruled out either. When in doubt, you can always get it swabbed to give you a better idea of what's an outbreak and what's not, until you can better tell yourself. Just an idea.
