I am 17 years old female, I've had herpes for about a year can't remember what type. But I had it in my vaginal genital area. I had an ectopic pregnancy about 3 weeks ago and then today April 6th I got an outbreak. But last week I slept with a new partner, we did vaginal, oral and anal. So about 2 days from today I started receiving herpes symptoms, now I don't know know if the outbreak was a delayed effect of the ectopic meds (methotrexate) leaving my body or... if he had herpes and caused me to have an outbreak in my anal region since I've never ever had it there. The symptoms are more intense then the ones I usually dealt with after my first outbreak this one hurts a lot, and the sores are like everywhere around my butt hole and in the crack. Feels like my every first outbreak all over again.
You cannot be infected by herpes again, so it's either the result of the pregnancy, meds and/or the friction of sex. Once you are infected genitally, an outbreak can potentially erupt anywhere in the boxer shorts region, though usually on the genitals at or near the original outbreak location. Over time, outbreaks may migrate.
You should really find out which type you have. If you have lesions now, get them swabbed and typed asap. Do your partners know? If you have HSV2, they should certainly be informed, especially if you are not taking preventative measures.
Damn just when I thought general herpes couldn't get any worse. Swabbing causes unnecessary pain and trying to walk with this thing is pretty much a byotch already. I haven't told the partner yet, I told him I didn't wanna do anything sexual but he insisted so really if they can't keep there things in there pants that's there issue..
