hi Robert,
firstly i want to say thanks for sharing your issue and i would really apreciate if you keep me/us all updated on the progress of your diagnosis/changes in your condition.
i think i have something that looks somewhat similar to you and it would help me if you can keep me in the loop.
first i have to say ask an expert, in the end we are all somewhat guessing and who knows how well informed anyone is on this site…still i have done a fair amount of research.
is there itching/pain/puss?
from one man to another first thing is try to look after yourself as best as possible, dont stress. stress is possibly making everything 10 times worse. i hate to say that i beleive in your case and possibly in mine too that this may have all begun not because of a woman but by paranoid scrubbing of penis with harsh supermarket shower gels thinking that it will clean the penis!
it is the worst thing to do.
it is a sensitive gland, it now needs your care and attention.
how long since the reddening of meatus did the white patterns appear?
it is possible you have some kind of itritation/dermatitis, it could be you had balantis, it could be lichen planus or sclerosis, even if it is that it may go away and stay away. but it may need you really taking care.
it is important you Eat very healthy, a whole food diet, avoid refined sugar, spicy and processed food etc, drink plenty warm water, do not drink with meals, eat at set times. get good sleep and reduce stress. consider introducing aloe vera juice every morning and turmeric every evening. do not wash with soaps only what doctor perscribes or water or specialist gentle natural products.
wear only cotton underwear.
soak up any urine still in urethra after urination, very important.
develop these habbits for life.
you may need/be perscribed steroid cream, if it is LS then you really dont want it progressing.
there are many oils to consider using, vit e, neem etc
daily good habbits will male a bug difference, patience and dedication to purifying and nourishing your whole system until it reaches deep in to the layers of your skin etc
do keep me in the loop.
best wishes.
This could be lichen planus, but to know it for sure, you need a biopsy in the most affected area.
Seems that its not known, but a lot of this kind of balanitis come after oral sex, so I suppose it could be related to a post-infection of some viruses
Oral sex was protected. But it is possible. Went to doctors adn did a few tests in the meantime. It seems I have a UTI with CITROBACTER KOSERI. Don’t know exactly what that means and don’t know if my penis symptoms are related to that. Will keep you updated.
