I've had an HIV scare 6 weeks ago. The man sent me his results from a 4fh generation DUO and it was non reactive. I took my DUO test at 4 weeks and came back non reactive. I'm still concerned for whatever reason.
I had an outbreak genital, oral, and on my thumb 2 weeks ago. I am having another genital outbreak today. I never outbreak more then a couple times in a couple months.
Could my outbreaks be a sign of HIV?

It’s probably the stress you’re putting yourself through. That can trigger an outbreak. If your 4 week 4th gen test was negative your 12 week retest will more than likely be negative too. Try not to worry. You’ve done all you can and at the end of the day, what’s done is done. And it can’t be undone.

I am going in for my 6 week test on Friday.
I have read most doctors say a 6 week DUO test in conclusive.
Hopefully it will put my mind at ease.
Stress can cause outbreaks!
I take acyclovir 200mg five times a day, so that way I don’t get outbreaks because I live a very stressful life.
Just ask to get put on a daily medication.
Hopefully. Trust the results when they come tho. And try to not dwell on it, as you’ll just send yourself on an anxiety roundabout. I honesty think you’ll be ok cos your 4 week test was negative
