It’s been a few month i noticed dryness and stiffness around my perineum. 3 days ago I noticed plaques/sores on my perineum. It is grey/white and swollen. Nothing inside my vagina
Took an over the counter medication for bacterial vaginosis ( pessaries to be precise) for 3 days. This made some of my symptoms worse; especially the burning and itchy sensation. However, it really helped with the smell.
As for today (as shown on the image) it looks quite bad. I am very worried. So I went to do a herpes test this morning.
other symptoms include:
- occasional pain when peeing
- fish like odour ( smell starting to go away)
- burning sensation and itchiness
- pain when touching perineum
I just want to know if anyone experienced something the same thing or similar
PS: My results are coming back in 2 weeks and I have yet to tell my partner.
