Now I know some people here aren’t doctors but I really need some opinions. I had anal sex with a guy about a week ago Thursday and when I was done I had a tear in my anus not big and it stings a little when pooping but doesn’t bother me. Now on Wednesday I woke up and checked to see how it was but I saw this sore of somewhat around the crack... looks like some pics of herpes I’ve seen online and also loos like ingrown hair because I used a product similar to nair around my anus on Sunday and it’s confusing because it doesn’t itch and it’s not multiple sores or in clusters... it’s just 1 and to be honest I feel it a little sore when I spread my cheeks. I’m confused and don’t want to go to the doctor because it doesn’t really affect me but I have an appointment next week so I’ll see either way. Just hoping I didn’t catch anything.

I'm experiencing almost the exact same thing right now. I can't get in to see a Dr. until Monday - I had unprotected anal sex with a new(ish) partner just under 2 weeks ago, and I had minor pain/discomfort from a tear for about a week. Then I noticed my discharge was thicker and so I took pills for what I thought was a yeast infection. A couple days later the discomfort got worse and started to show some pussing sores on and around my anus - super, super painful. They've gotten much darker in the past day, and have started to spread to my labia. I'm just really worried and I don't know what to do. I've only had 4 partners total, and I'm pretty sure I didn't get it from the first 3. This is really scary, but I guess worst case scenario is that it's GH and I take antivirals, so really not that bad - just a bad stigma around GH in general.
Just curious - have you noticed any changes since you first posted?
Yes I have. It’s about day 3 now and it’s a open sore not too big but now 2 bumps/blisters have grown around it but no discharge is coming out. I’m trying Desitin and aloe vers gel. It barely itches but I know it’s something. Hoping staph but knowing what I did it going with GH. No one ever wants to have that but I’ve come to terms with it if I do... it’s very common and not life threating and I’m taking it as a lesson. Also taking it as pimples haha they come and go just this time it’s around our anus. What doesn’t kill us will make us stronger. I just fear that meds with make them worse so I’m trying to do everything naturally. They’re gonna have to go away eventually!!
