Okay. I am lost. 3 months ago I had unprotected sex. Right after I got my period which I thought was weird since it wasn’t supposed to come....and it was really heavy. Anyway after my period I was reallllly itchy down there never had any sores, bumps, rash or cuts....the itch lasted about 4 weeks when I finally decided to try a yeast pill which seemed to help. Then I got period again. Right after my period I had pelvic pain which kept lasting and then 2 weeks after my last period I got another period which is sooooo unusual for me. Anyways I’ve tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia...it’s been 3 months and. My vagina just feels off. Could this be herpes with no sores??? I still have mild pelvic pain and like I said just an off feeling down there..my vagina just feels achy... Has anyone else ever had this happen. Ohhh and when I was itchy which I’m not anymore my urethra was also really itchy. I don’t have any Odor down there either. I’m kind of lost and my doctor seems to think nothing is wrong. What’s the chances of having herpes with no actual sores??

I was diagnosed via blood test for HSV2. I never had a blister down there...ever!
After my diagnosis I paid closer attention to my body and noticed that I’m very itchy around certain times of the month specifically ovulation and cycle time. I also noticed that the virus thru my cycle off a bit starting a few days early each month. I do get dull aches down there but again no blisters. You may want to get a type specific IGG test.
