I noticed these about 4 or 5 days after my partner and i had sex. i was using the bathroom and had a slight irritation when i wiped to hard. they are not painful and as far as i know did not start out as blisters. they just look like canker sores with no pain. any ideas? i am almost positive it is an sti bc of the timing and well ive never seen anything like that before. ive been reading about herpes and syphilis … i feel like it resembles syphilis more than herpes but i know syphilis is less common.
they could still be from shaving. you could have shaved the tops off some hair follicles
did you have any bleeding from cuts after shaving?
no bleeding. initially, i thought the second photo was from shaving or an ingrown hair bc that is the one i noticed first but then i noticed the others a day later. they are raised and somewhat hard to the touch, outside of the open wound part itself.
but i don’t think I’ve ever had an ingrown hair look or react like this.
