Hello everyone. I’m confused by what I’ve experienced recently. I had protected sex Saturday night/ Sunday morning with a female I just met. I did not ejaculate and neither did she. I did not see any condom breaks either. However about a day after Sex on Monday I noticed a small sore on the left side of my penis. I am confused because it doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen online describing herpes nor does it look like a syphillis chancre. I am more so confused because if it is either syphillis or herpes shouldn’t I have gotten it on area not covered by the condom and not directly on my penis head as I have seen. I hope that someone with a similar experience can tell me if this may just be from the friction of sex or if it is in fact herpes/syphillis. I’m a broke college kid with no insurance so I am really trying to not to go and spend all my money to get tested if it’s nothing.
There should be a clinic near by that can check it out and run some urine/blood/swab tests at no cost, get it checked out to be sure, good luck✌🏻
UPDATE: So now it’s been 4 days since the possible exposure date and the sore has completely healed. No blisters formed and no itching although I have had some aches, sore throat, headache but I also have terrible allergies due to pollen so it may be that and not anything STD related. I’m still worried about having an outbreak of something since I’ve read most herpes/syphillis outbreaks don’t occur until a week or two later. Will keep updating
