hi , i usually always get tested every 3-6 months including herpes 1/2 IGG .. always come back negative my latest test was 3 weeks ago . been dealing with this guy ive been messing with since 2016 .. this started last tuesday .. i usually check my vulva on a regular to make sure everything is fine .. ive been having soo much white discharge no odor , it it first started to look like my skin started peeling. on my vulva so i started to get paranoid and the area was itching but not inside my vag but that area.. den i started to have red patched .. no pain at all on the area i have the red patches no ulcers no bumps no flu like symptoms .no burn when urinating .. when i seem to wash that area with dove it seem as everytime i watch it it get sooo red and noticable but through out the day its a light pinkish look , i keep playing with and pressing on them no pain , i wash them normally with no pain . jst now i feel like im starting to irratater it.. can s
Hi Ashley, you picture has not uploaded yet but everything you describe sounds like a yeast infection. Stop messing with it and ask your pharmacist for an antifungal treatment. Of course a professional advice to confirm would be the best. Dove can be an irritating soap, you can ask your pharmacist for a better option to clean the area in the future.
thank you so much for replying! im not sure why they aren’t allowing to post pics as of yet. talked to a doctor n have them looked at it m told me it is deff not herpes n looks like a rash n irritation from soap or could have had an allergic reaction to something ( which i have been using this new feminine wash and seen reviews that explained they caught YI and rash do to it ) and i know with herpes you wouldn’t be able to touch it let alone wash the area with no pain like i am. and also everytime i take w pic of this rash it looks different through out the day , when i wash it that when it visually looks the
worst but later throughtout the days it doesnt look as red n i know herpes wouldnt change in apperance thru-out the day . my only symtom is servere itching and now mild pain due to the irratiton doctor told me to get this hydrocortisone cream and jst washed it and applied it and it itches so bad ! is there a way i can message to show you images n get your opinion
Hi, i dont think you have anything to worry about other than treating your Yeast infection. I couldnt see a red patch in the pictures which is probably a good thing . Its the discharge that is causing your skin to peel and feel irritated. Just wash with warm water until all has cleared up. You cam also use a pantyliner as well until all clears.
i feel like it gets really red when i wash it with dove soap. but throughout the day it isn’t red and looks pink and look like they are healing and i was told by doctor to just wash it with water. nd put some hydrocortisone cream i started last night and already see some less redness when i washed. im going to get tested again for HSV 1/2 today just to make im in clear .

it doesn’t hurt which is a good thing they jst look like flat bunch red patches and do pain when pressure is added . doctor said it looks like a rash from soap and cuz no pain or raised bumps nor ulcers jar a bunch of red flat dots
and you can see redmess to the side of vagina and only looks like red patches when vulva is stretched out
Most likely the soap was the cause of the irritation and causing the rash. Warm water is all you need, your vagina self cleans itself and does not need soap or products to be cleaned. Avoid any heavy fragrance soaps/detergents, feminine wipes and such. Some women use them but i dont think you need them at all. i use baby wipes when im on my period or if i have a lot of discharge. i am negative for both virus! rash is getting better ! it was mostly from a lot of discharge n moist , those 2 combine can cause a mess down there ! threw out the wash i was using and just sticking to washing it with water! no discomfort.

my only concern is , idk now to keep the crease area and vulva dry from discharge . doctor said keep dry as possiple and idk how to do that
Thats great news on your test results. You can use always daily liners. I use those when i dont want to feel wet and sweaty when my discharge is little heavier than normal. You can also try using baby wipes to clean and stay dry when going to the restroom. hopefully it can help you
