Does genital herpes affect one area where as a yeast infection can affect all over. If u had tiny cut on labia and perienum but dr said vagina looks yeasty. Would it be just because of yeast of can herpes be widespread
i have a total of 3 cuts all different times i was told external yeast . When you have a herpes outbreak can the cuts appear at different times or all at once
Also i tested negative for all other stds. Dr does not think its herpes. And these cuts all healed within a day. And they caused no pain

Yeast can cause lesions, and herpes is sometimes associated with yeast or BV. Hard to say, but could well be just yeast. If in doubt, get swab tested for herpes. The lesions must be new and not healing. Herpes can cause fissures, not just blisters, contrary to the other reply here.
