Hi, I was recently diagnosed with herpes and it has been a couple of weeks since my first outbreak. I have a slight itching feeling at the opening of my vagina and that used to be a sign for me that i was getting a yeast infection but I’m not sure if it could be a herpes outbreak forming. I’m just not sure whether I should start taking my herpes medication as I don’t want to waste it!
Can anyone tell me what the feeling of a herpes outbreak will feel like in comparison to a yeast infection!?

I found the tingle prior to a outbreak is a different outbreak!
Like a feeling of skin crawling or I dunno a itchy that couldn’t be satisfied by scratching!
Keep a eye! Don’t take your antivirals just yet! If any red marks or something shows up then take some. At least then you will know that the feeling you experience is a prodrome next time
