i always get a yeast infection before my period chronically. 5 days ago i began to feel itchy and just ignored it cause i was on vacation and drinking and swimming everyday which definitely made it worse especially cause i would find myself scratching in my sleep. Yesterday i had these big red bumps, some cuts all over my vagina that were super itchy. i felt kind of sick like a hangover all day and my inguinal lymph nodes were swollen. i got fluconazole from the doctor yesterday and i feel perfectly find and it already looks much better, the bumps have gone down. But i am super nervous because a bad yeast infection and genital herpes have very similar symptoms. my boyfriend of two years and I just broke up due to the fact that he was cheating so that is also why my anxiety is at an all time high.
