got blisters last week on genital after applying mupirocin ointment down their for foliculitis. i noticed i would blister more and swell after applying the cream. went to the doctor and me and my partner of 2 months both tested negative for hsv1 and hsv2. i havent been with anyone else for a year now. doctor initially thought herpes but test came back negative. is there a possibility that it still is herpes? even if me and my partner both tested negative? it doesnt hurt at all. my clitoris itches and i dont have any other initual herpes symptoms. HELP PLEASE!!! also my discharge has been changing. it is very excessive kinda liker cervical mucus. ive even noticed tiny cottege cheese like pieces around vagina. my skin around my genital is also shedding.
hey , thats definatly herpes breakout, get on treatment right away and have a bath with epsom salt to help with drying them out
Hiya 1) How did he test you for herpes ? Did he take a swap or Blood test? You can have herpes but have negative results in these two circumstances A) if the herpes blood test was done too soon. B) if you have herpes and yeast infection at the same time and the swap was taken from a yeast pimple. Most people with herpes will have secondary infections such as yeast.
2) What did he diagnose you with?
are there bumps anywhete else like by your clit?
omg ouch !! you need a Swab done .. that is no doubt herpes !! is your partner experiencing any symptoms ? what are your symptoms ?
he has no symptoms, we both tested negative
im not sure, but weirdly my clitoris is the only thing that itches
we both did blood test, we were both negative. she is now doing swab to see exactly what it is. but she said if he dont have it then neither should i. possible contact dermintitis from cream
also having trouble breathing for the past few days???? is that a common symptom
she gave me vitrex just incase but i feel more irritant
ouch that looks painful! could be herpes or a bad yeast infection
definitely herpes in my experience.
Was IGG blood test? You need to wait 12 / 16 weeks for an IGG blood test to be accurate.
hi please keep us updated with your results. a while back i had the exact same thing you and my doctor told me contact dermatitis too.
If possible, get a second opinion just to be sure its not herpes & hopefully a better diagnosis
OMG you poor thing - that looks very painful - I am confident in saying it looks typical of a HSV outbreak but without proper bloods and swabs we can all just give our opinion - I hope you get this sorted Keep us updated :)
hi did you hve a second outbreak? the blisters are leaking a yellow/greenish fluid and it stinks badly! also had a little swelling on my eyes. along with frequent trouble breathing.. what were your simptoms?
hi all.. no update.. tge blisters are leaking badly. a yellow green stinky fluid. it smells so bad. its hard to keep area dry even when i sleep with a napkin down there it soaks it. but my discharge is white!! is that a herpes symptom??
i have a very similar issue happening! I am going to get tested tomorrow and seeing a gyno on Friday. ive had a boyfriend for two years so i hope its not herpes. please keep us updated on your diagnosis!
