looked like i cut myself shaving after 3days noticing stayed same. a couple days later i had what looked like a rash and the lips were swelled. the dr said it looked like folliculitis. bought a wellknown herpes at home test. was+ for oral herpes but not genital herpes. now august never had another “breakout”. recently went to my obgyn for a bacterial infection and rec. was+ for hsv-1 but not for hsv-2 but said prev. had a breakout. read mono can mess up results. can antibiotics create a false positive? should i get tested again?
