Recently diagnosed with HSV2 and I still have thousands of questions going round my head!
Can I ever get a wax down there again or could that cause a breakout?
Oral sex, can I still give/take it or can it turn in to oral herpes?
Does sleeping without pants on actually help?
Any advice/answers would be a great help
Waxing: Potentially. Each person is different.
Oral: You can give. You can also receive if you are not having an outbreak. Risk of transmission is lower, but protected oral and/or suppressive therapy would be even safer, obviously.
Pants: Help with what? I never ditched mine and was/am fine. Some people say airing helps, but it's down to the individual.

I was worried it would change sex forever and things would be very limited!
When I had my first outbreak the Dr told me to trying and not wear pants where possible, I wasn’t keen on the idea of not wearing any whilst out and about in the day!
Even when I have outbreaks, first one included, I keep my underwear on and it's no problem at all. I have not waxed the whole area, but have waxed my bikini line and shaved there without issue. If waxing is a trigger, you can always take the meds a day or two in advance as a prophylaxis. After adjusting to the diagnosis, you will feel more confident. Takes time.
