So I have been watching this for a few days now .. it started as what I thought was a pimple which I tried to pop (which made the skin red) and I noticed it hasnt been getting better these past few days.. I've been putting aquaphor on it and it doesnt seem to be painful but skin keeps flaking off of it and I just want it to heal

I think it may be that because I’ve had something like that but on the corners of my mouth in the past? it took awhile to heal bc of the fact when my mouth opened it would tear the wound open again.. if this were herpes I figured I would have the other symptoms as well? and it’s not ulcering or blistering in anyway just flaking

here it is today.. just scabbing and no real discoloration.. seems to be mostly pink and the scab itself peels off as a skin color as well… I’m seeing the doctor next week and will keep the discussion posted
