i changed soaps and experienced the first picture below. I went to the doctor and she ruled out herpes because it cleared up so quickly, no painful sores or anything leaking. I noticed a small fissure like cut above my anus and clittorus. I want to trust the doctor but im nervous. what do you think?
that doesnt look like herpes. dont worry! looks like an allergic reaction. take antihistimines and the doctor will assure you it is not hsv 2
i would have the area swabbed just to be sure its not herpes. ive seen some breakouts that look like this.
I don’t have anything to swab. It cleared up.
I get fissures all the time and the doctor that looked at mine said it was normal. It could he from underwear or friction. I put aquaphor on mine since it can cause a little discomfort and it heals within a day or 2.
did you get it swabbed?
doctor said that it didn’t need to be since it was just a fissure, I explained to her how I got the cut as well so herpes were ruled out.
oh okay! I got mine swabbed just in case!
got it swabbed today!
at the time the doctors and I weren’t even considering herpes, if I could go back and get them swabbed now I would!
