26 weeks pregnant. last week I had a UTI. antioniotic les to a brutal yeast infection, not quite done. anyway these developed now. I thought it was a sore because my yeast infection was so bad but now im unsure. ive never had a herpes outbreak before, not really painful today. waiting to hear back from the doctor
nope no herpes at all it any consideration of it. i thought maybe from the yeast infection too (it was awful, worst ive ever had) and clearly i still have a possibke yeast discharge but then these blisters and sores look so much like herpes and in havent seen much similar for the yeast infection.
i believe it is from the yeast infection. the discharge from it seems to be very acidic and causes the sores, lesions, tears in skin. it still looks like you have a yeast infection too. Are you having excessive amount of liquidy milky discharge ? what does it smell like, sweet ?
yes i do believe the yeast infection didnt heal completely. i used Monistat1 on sunday. My entire vulva was white at that time and very raw. I am heading to the dr at 1
Hopefully they prescribe you something safe and that can treat your YI without giving you something else like the UTI antibiotics. It can take up to 7 days to treat so you will have to be a little patient unfortunately .
i think so, it takes 5-7 days to treat YI while pregnant. It is a little longer due to all the changes your body is going through not to mention hormones are all over the place. Did they say it was concerning the sores or anything indicating what it could be ?
the just keep saying they are unsure and waiting for results.
wet culture had 0 infection across all criteria
they ran chlamydia, gonorrhea, swab on swab on the sores and hsv 1 and 2 blood. nothing had come back yet. my chlamydia and gonorrhea were negative in february
the little blisters burst i think and arent there anymore the same
still waiting for the blood results. But my understanding is that if the swab is positive and my blood is not, this this is probably my first outbreak and I just contracted it? alternatively if the blood test is positive I probably had it for a while and just finally had an outbreak?
i believe so, since you have never had it is likely you had contracted it by him. It is important that you discuss the delivery of your baby. I believe having a vaginal birth is unlikely due to your baby may get infected. They may prescribe you medication to treat it later in the pregnancy. However must drugs are harmful to the baby. The test HSV-2 is genital herpes and the antibodies test is showing that your body is building/developing antibodies to the virus. Has the outbreak gone down ?
