So I’ve been having unprotected sex with a new partner since April. About a couple of days, i noticed a breakout. Granted, I have shaved and naired my vagina. I went to the dr on saturday and he said it didnt look like herpes to him. i am so disappointed in myself for even having unprotected sex and risking my health. Do you guys think this a herp outbreak
I am not a doctor, but you need to have a swab and culture with blood test.
did you ever get results?
Yes, I did. I tested positive for genital HSV-1. I’ve only had one outbreak from what I’ve known of that and life has been pretty normal thankfully
thats good to hear (not that you have it but living normal) did your partner get tested?
the partner that I believe gave it to me didnt get tested because he swore that he was clean, but my initial outbreak was during the time we were having sex (he was the only person i was with). Also after I got my results came back positive he still was very willing to have sex with me. But he was just a bad person in general because he also blocked me when I first asked him if he gave me something
