A total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salphingo oopherectomy. I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong but I got both my ovaries, tubes uterus and cervix removed for endometriosis and adenomysis.
I had my complete hysterectomy 3/16/16. First three weeks were a breeze. Then all hell broke loose and it started with some sharp pains in my vagina. I thought uti and treated it. For three weeks actually. Eventually ended up seeing a urologist who felt it was pelvic floor soams. I started physical therapy for a hypertonic pelvic floor. It took a few weeks and I got better. I now have some residual nerve pain being treated with amitriptyline. But am so so so much better than where I was.
