I've taken 5-HTP before, but must not take them if you're taking Citalopram or any other prescribed SSRI.  Don't know about the other meds.

At first when I took them I felt a bit flat, but it lifted after a week or so.

I didn't recover on 5-HTP though.  I recovered taking Citalopram and then came off and went onto 5-HTP.
