hi

you said in one of your postings that your on diclofenic i was under the impression that you couldnt take anti inflammetries after the op? mind you im probebly wrong but i know i read it someplace.lol.

gail

Sorry to butt in, I was prescribed Tramadol, Paracetemol and Ibruprofen post-op. I think Ibruprofen is an anti-inflammatory. I was told not to take them for a few days (not sure how many) prior to surgery. I was also taking Diclofenac pre-surgery but they specifically told me to stop taking them prior to the op.

Hi Guys,

I'll certainly ask my GP about itnwhen I see him next week although it's a bit late for anything to be done now. The docs didn't query it at the hospital...I've certainly had Diclofenac post op beforw although this was for a C-section...maybe things have changed.

Take care,

Jules xx :? :? :D

hi both thought id seen it some place about the anti-inflammitreis(cant stomach them myself) hi doof hows things progressing for you, hope your continuing to recover well. gail

Hi Gail,

Yep coming along nicely - took myself off to the gym last week and did a bit on the cross trainer and treadmill - ugh how unfit am I!! Doesn't take long to go, use it or lose it girl!!

I've got an mri tomorrow night on my neck. It will be interesting to see how things have progressed (ha ha ha) in the last year. I've got to wait another 5-7 weeks for my post-op appointment for my back, if I get the thumbs up with that then it will be all systems go with my neck.

I'm trying not to let all these surgeries get me down, 2 down, maybe 1 to go .......... nearly there :D

This is a nice forum isn't it, not as intense as t'other one can be sometimes (if you know what I mean)!!

Hope you have had a good weekend.

Sandra
