YOU NOT LAZY! Ask yourself this...Do I want to get up in the morning and be full of spirit? OR
Do I want to stay in bed, tired. moan, feel depressed, hate everything and so on and so on?
I know what the answer will be...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND """WANTS""" TO BE DEPRESSED, TIRED, LETHARGIC...etc?????
Your body is telling you one thing, and you and your mind want to do something else. Dont be so hard on yourself. Every night when you go to bed focus on what you HAVE achiebed and not what you feel you failed at. Ask yourself if you tried, and be proud of yourself!!!!
IT IS AN ACHIEVEMENT JUST TO GET UP, WASH, GO OUT AND MEET THE DAY AHEAD! anything else you do inbetwen is a bonus. Cease YOUR day, do your best and NEVER say you are lazy.
have a good life x

im 16 now and had thyroid problems for a couple of months now.. i have noticed myself gain some weight.. not much but enough. Today i got my results back from the hospital for my blood tests and they say the problem is back again after they said it had gone. Im now on levothyroxine 100. I feel asthough this problem seems to affect my life in so many ways.. iv had 2 days off work in the past 2 months due to such heavy periods that i go dizzy and i cannot stand up. I would appreciate it so much if someone could tell me if they have been in my position and been cured.. or is this for life now? I am so worried this is going to affect my results during the summer in my exams because i feel myself getting upset over the smallest things...... thanks for your time.. xx
Hey...it does get better!
Im now 18 and was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and glandula fever about 6 months ago now and am still trying to get medicine dose right!
Used to feel reli tired all the tym..couldnt concentrate, which made me feel stupid, hair was falling out, which really got to me and got really low and down crying all the time!..im guessing you've been feeling similar things!
Over time my dosage of medicine was increased, until..wait for it...i got dramatically worse..because my dr put me on too high dose and i had an overactive thyroid.hah so make sure they dont do that! but now im on 125...and altho dont feel 100% better yet....i am a LOT better and starting to feel like normal again.
i never thought i'd get better...but it just takes time. And as for your exams, i was the same. Try and get your Dr. to write a note to your exam board..thats what i did..as i got really behind and still am. Im going to see a specialist as well in a couple of days, to see if there's any other things i can do to help!
it does get better though...even though it feels like it doesnt.
i know its incredibly frustrating but all you can do is be patient and do the best u can until your all better!
take care x
