not feeling to good. Feeling anxious and panicking. shortness of breath. When I try and relax and concentrate on my breathing it makes it worse. Hate this.

Has anything happened to cause this bout of anxiety? Is it something you can remove yourself from for a short amount of time to come to terms with or something?
No nothing happen. I sometimes wake up short of breath and I start to think something is happening in my body and I start to panic. .
Oh dear,but i know how you feel.I don't have it when I wake up,but at times through the day I start feeling edgy or panicky and hyperthalate so I know some of what it can be like.are you feeling any better atm?
I actually am feeling a bit better. It always helps when I write to someone Or write down my feelings. Thank you

Ok. Close your eyes, breath slowly and deeply and try to think of somewhere nice that you would like to be.
(Maybe a holiday destination that you have loved in the past). Imagine everything there that was relaxing. And I mean EVERYTHING. What was the sun like, where there any clouds in the sky? If so, how many? Are you on the beach? If so, what does the sand feel like between your fingeres?
Try to concentrate as much as you can on this lovely imaginery scene and hopefully your anxiety will start to reduce a little.

I know how you feel, I have had that feeling first thing in the morning and it's aweful to start your day that way. I have found that usually when I get that way, something is going on that is bothering me that I haven't clearly realized. Think about your life, family, friends, job. Talk it out with a therapist or good friend, sometimes you realize something that is not sitting right with you, and you weren't fully aware of it. Good Luck and I wish you peace
