Hi i had my gall bladder removed 2 years ago after suffering for 2 years with the acute pain of gallstones, this was misdiagnosed as stress, then an ulcer, the pulled muscles from playing tennis, it was only after investigation done by myself that i asked for an ultrasound to be carried out, it was confirnmed i had lots of stones, i would like to offer a comforting word to those suffering and tell them that the operation is extremely quick and simple, it is almost painless and it is bliss to know that after only about 3 days the horrendous pain of gall stones will not return.

Help I have only read horriable stories of gallbladder surgery I go in next week to see the surgean and i am scared to death.

I am very scared about the supposed weight gain caused by this surgery... I know i need to have it done but this really makes me doubt whether i should try other options first? Did you experience any weight gain due to the surgery and not your diet?
