Hi, I have been prescribed this drug by my doctor and I was just wondering if it was safe to take while pregnant.I did specifically tell my doctor I was pregnant when her was prescribing this drug to me, but after reading the warnings I am concerned about the effect of this drug on my unborn child after reading that it shoud not be taken while pregnant.I am also a sufferer of drpression which I believe this drug can make worse? I would love to hear your comments on this.

I have been taking zop's fpr about 18mnths.My dad has also he was taking 3x7.5's a night while I started with half a tab and went up to 1 7.5 mg anight.I have just recently been made aware that this medication can cause depresssion with all kinds of morbid, suicidal thought along with confusion and thoughts that juat do not make any sence. At times I feel ilke I am losing my mind.I is just awefull.I have cut back down to half a tab last night (dec 02/06 and will wean myself off of them eventually. My father who quite cold turkey 2 weeks ago had about 5 sleepless nights, along with depression dizziness and fatigue. He said he is sleeping better now but the side effects are still there. I feel this medication is very bad with long term use and my plan is to be free from its grip.I will further update as time goes on.. Gods blessins on you all..Scott
