Convinced something's wrong with brain. Keep getting burning, pressure sensation on sides and top of head for days now.. and a pressure that comes and goes behind my nose. Sometimes I get these strange little rushes (not sure how to describe it) that only last a second but afterwards I'm left completely uneasy. Also, my eyes feel weird and sensitive to light. I haven't googled anything, but pretty sure I have a pressed vein inside my head that's going to pop. So so frustrated. Does it EVER END? I've tried so hard just to ignore it, I've stayed calm, I really have tried, but it's getting worse and not going away and I just can't put up with this anymore! This isn't any way to live, feeling like my life can be taken from me at any second every. single. day. Can't go to the doctor because we've already spent so much money on me... I'm lost.
Hey Kaytren, what you're describing could just be anxiety symptoms raring their ugly head. (Not a doctor or medical advice).
I've had light sensitivity at times too, pressures in various places etc. and my only diagnosis is anxiety despite having a ton of tests.
Explain this eye thing. Is your vision blurry or spotty?
I would think anxiety is the cause and the more we worry the worse the symptoms. From new year I have had (in my mind )throat cancer ,lung cancer ,lost the use of my leg needing it amputated as my arteries were blocked and now I’m off my head with my latest worry tongue cancer (sore tongue for 3 weeks ) I’ve suffered this for years and like my (long suffering)friends have said you d be dead by now .You are right This is NO way to live good luck
Sometimes I see lights when I close my eyes, and it takes them a while to focus when I'm looking at something.
I hope so.
I just feel like I need tests done.. but my parents are so fed up with me because I have a new "problem" every week. Usually they go away, but this has been going on ever since I took lexapro. (Which I've stopped taking.)
Good luck to you too. ❤️
Yeah, me too.. health anxiety is terrible.
Me too!
Even if you didn't take lexapro, it could still be anxiety symptoms. That's what they sound like anyway.
Were you having physical symptoms Denise? I'm going through C anxiety right now too.
It started with some kind of virus thing, and I've had symptoms all over my body over the past couple months. First I was worried about esophagus, then throat, then mouth, now colon because I'm getting some constipation (which can be an anxiety symptom!) on occasion etc. etc.
Had so many tests done, but no cause for concern from the doctors I've seen and all the various test results. Still don't feel right though.
Yes all physical symptoms. My auntie is suffering with health anxiety I was explaining to her about this site I was telling her about all the people on and how anxiety causes all manor of physical problems she said “”she knows they do BUT HER symptoms are real .which is what we all think .
