Had a small stroke affecting the right side of my face and my speech luckily my speech has returned along with the feeling in my face but ever since I'm not eating as everything tastes disgusting and making me gag has anyone any advice.
Garry, I'm not a medic, just someone with a son who had a silent stroke a couple of years ago (a clot to the brain). I think your query is one you should raise with your GP or whoever is treating you - perhaps your taste buds have changed due to any medication they might have put you on. I'm glad to hear that everything else has returned to normal, but certainly, you do need to eat something to stay well.

Hi, I am glad everything is starting to return, but I do agree with MrsO, definetley see your GP :-), if you can not bear to eat, at least try and keep your fluids up.
