Hi interesting to read all the different experiences. I am 58yrs and only just experiencing vaginal dryness, fortunately no other problems as yet. After researching the internet I learned that Vitamin E and also Primrose Oil is very helpful. In the USA Primrose Oil is also inserted and say it is very affective. I have started taking Vit.E and wondered if anyone else are taking Vitamins and if so does it work for them. I would be interested to hear anyone else's comments.

I hope Vit e helps you but unfortuantely I have been taking it orally and/or internally for years but it was a waste of time. I have also tried Replens gel/cream which helped a bit but its messy and then I tried vagifem which helped for a good while but then I started having urinary tract infections caused by vaginal dryness so I was prescribed Orthogynest cream which was brilliant and helped so much but can only be used short term so now I am back on Vagifem and told that when it my condition worsens again to swap between Vagifem and ortogynest for a short time and then go back to vagifem when things settle down again.
Again, it was a female gynaecologist who eventually sorted out treatment for me after attending a male gynaecologist for many years. You'd think that since this problem is so widespread that some doctor somewhere in the UK would be able to come up with a proper solution.
I have said it elsewhere, Serenity Natural Progesterone cream is the answer if you are prepared to pay for it. don't take my word for it, Google it and try it for yourself.
No side effects, no risks and you can continue use until you are 96. :D

Do be careful to get the right Progesterone cream. I have done excellently with Wellsprings but very poorly with another firm offering cream under the same name - serenity - in almost identical packaging.
