hi I’ve been having pain in my right upper side and upper middle and yellow stool every time I eat fatty food I get serve pain in cheast like I’m having a heart attack and getting gugglerling has anyone had this got to see a surgeon in December please need advice this is coming from gallbladder had ct scan and blood tests and ultrasound scan all come back clear really worried please has anyone got advice manythanks

I’m so sorry to read that you are going through this.
I had my gallbladder removed 9 months ago and the symptoms you describe do sound consistent with a problem gallbladder. I had stones and sludge in my gallbladder and it was clearly picked up on an ultrasound scan. People can still suffer from gallbladder attacks without having stones or sludge, and this is due to a low functioning gallbladder. Ultrasound and CT scans will not pick up on this and Hida scans are used to diagnose this.
The yellow stools you describe could be an indication that not enough bile is reaching your intestines, hence the paler, yellow stools. Another indicator that your gallbladder is not functioning as it should be.
Whilst you wait to see the surgeon, you should cut out fat from your diet, drink water and reduce portion sizes. Upon the onset of an attack take Buscopan as this can help Ibuprofen can also help if you can tolerate it. Some people swear by apple cider vinegar.
If your attacks get worse, last more than a few hours and are accompanied by a fever and/or yellowing of skin and eyes, you must seek urgent medical attention by going to A&E (Emergency room).
