My hands are sweaty I feel a tightness in my chest I feel just so tired cause my heart is constantly racing and wont let me sleep my appetite is just not there I feel like I'm dying my mother tells me ima put myself in a crazy house I had a ekg done yesterday and the Dr said he saw something abnormal and wants to do a different test next week how am I suppose to stay calm with all this on my shoulders! Someone please help anyone!
Seeing something in an EKG that is abnormal may still be very unimportant or common. I am sure if the doctor thought it was serious that you would be in a hospital and not just scheduled for another test. He would have also given you restrictions on exercising and lifting.

First of all, take a deep breath! I’ve had two EKGs done and they come back abnormal for a lot of reasons! First, it could be sinus tachycardia from your anxiety and your heart is racing from the stress. Totally harmless and you will need to learn ways to cope and lower your heart rate. It could be an arrhythmia, which is easily treatable with medicine in most cases. My sister had an abnormal one and doctor didn’t say why so she went to the cardiologist and they did an echo and all was well!

Thank you Sarah 2 ekgs! Wow and yeah that's what the ekg was for was tachycardia and you say totally harmless like I won't die from this? And yeah I heard of a arrhythmia and so your saying also I could of been a wrong reading wow thank you Sarah and thank you for the hug it's comforting to know I'm not alone
By the way Sarah you suffer from anxiety?have you ever had your heart race so much that you can't sleep?
