Can someone please tell me what this is? i have a stinging sensation in my vagina but it goes away after a few hours. I thought it might just be irritation or period irritation but then i got on google and started doing research and now i think it might be herpes or something worse. Ive only had sex with two people in my entire lifetime so im not sure what it is. Does the inside look ok or should i be worried? I cant get a appointment for another week so i want to make sure everything is ok right now.

but please try to relax. there’s a good chance its not herpes because it could be so many other things. watch out for any lesions or fluid filled bumps that might burst and crust over. herpes is complex though and some people can get symptoms so mild they don’t even know they have it, they just think its a rash or something else.
but even if it is, your life is not over. herpes is more common than people think, its just most people dont show symptoms of it. i say this all the time but theres too much social stigma surrounding it, its simply an annoying skin condition. its okay, breathe!!
just be patient and trust that your healthcare provider will take care of you.
