has anyone had hiatus hernia surgery in the last 12-24 months? seriously debating it due to multiple symptoms. any advice would be appreciated thanks Bryan

I had mine repaired last February along with a fundiplication and it was the best thing i ever did. Havent had a Gaviscon or Ranitidine since. Would thoroughly recommend

have you found you have to be very careful in what you do afterwards? reason i ask is i was very active in the gym before i got this hernia but find it impossible to even excercise properly since ?

Hi Bryan, afraid I’m not an exercise person!! However would suggest that you be careful with any abdominal exercise till fully healed and be guided by your doctor and your own body.
