HIDA results: 36% -- Now what?

Hi,

I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago, and was negative for any stones. Had a HIDA scan Friday. I got an email about my results yesterday, and it said my gallbladder had a 36% ejection fraction, above the 35% they consider normal. I'm not meeting with my doctor to review the results and further recommendations for almost two weeks.

I'm just really hoping the news I'm going to get isn't tough luck for now. By following a very careful diet, I've been able to have little pain. However, just hours after my HIDA test, I had a flare up, including the shoulder/neck pain I had prior. Guessing whatever they injected caused that.

What I wondering is if anyone (particularly in the U.S.) was able to get their gallbladder out or find a solution if they came in just above the normal mark for the HIDA scan?
