High bilirubin (DBIL) in blood? Do I have something serious?

I got my blood test results today. I'm 23 year old woman, I generally feel good. But since I was consuming quite a bit of alcohol over the last years, I wanted to check if everything is fine. My blood test showed very high DBIL (8.4 μmol/l) (it says the max is 5.1). Also, my leukocytes WBC are a bit low (4.88). All the other labs are normal. Also the ones for liver and pancreas - AST, ALT, GGT and P-AMYL are all completely normal. Could it be something urgent and serious because of DBIL ?? I'm getting really really worried since I can't get a consultation or more tests anytime soon because of the situation in my country. Could it be something life-threatening?

Hi Anne you might have Gilberts Syndrome if your Bilirubin count is high. I have been diagnosed with it for a few years. Some people have absolutely no symptoms and others like myself have a whole host of things going on that seem to be caused by Gilberts. There is no treatment and its medically classed as a mild condition. I was diagnosed after a Dr noted that my bilirubin count had been above the normal level for 8 years
