i came of Flouextine at the beginning of March this year after taking it for around 18 months for GAD. I had my blood sugar levels routinely checked last July which were around the 35 mark but when I had them checked last week they had gone up to 45 in less that 10 months!. I have always been fit (although a little less since getting GAD) but I am very very concious of my diet, no sugar, no processed food etc.
I have read that Flouextine can cause blood sugar rises but nothing conclusive on the web. Has anyone else experienced this? Prior to this I have never been pre diabetic.
