High frequency tinnitus

Hy i am suffering from high frequency tinnitus .Its been 10 months now since i got this problem .I do not know what caused it and i did took some treatment but it didn't helped me . Although i did got used to this but it actually changed a lot of things in my life regarding my physical health, mental health and my personality.

I used to be very confident person and I have a good concentration power but my tinnitus had effected both these things .

I loved making art and sketches and I could sit for 4 to 5 hrs concentrating on one work but now I can't even sit for 1 HR properly as my tinnitus gets louder when I concentrate on something .

I was a confident person but now I have moderate to severe anxiety.

I also get anxiety attacks sometimes whenever I get stressed due to my work ..

My efficiency is degrading

I thought it will get better but it is not ..

What should I do now?

How can I make my life better with my tinnitus?

Also I follow a normal lifestyle .

I eat home cooked food mostly

Sleep early (9:00pm ) and wake up early (5:30 or 6:00 am)

Have you visited an ent or neurologist? I have had very high pitched tinnitus for almost two years and I’m finally getting somewhere. My mri has white matter which from what I can gather is migraines which I have from time to time.

My tinnitus began a year ago along with a 30% hearing loss in my left ear. After visits to my PCP, ENT, upper cervical chiropractor and several acupuncture treatments, nothing has changed, my tinnitus remains.

i have found the best way to deal with it is to ignore it as much as possible. I have become habituated to the constant ringing in my ear and have befriended it as it obviously is here for the long haul.

That being said, I haven’t given up hope that one day it will disappear as suddenly as it appeared in my life.

Best of luck to you; things could be worse!

I did visited an ENT specialist , he told me that medicines are not very effective for tinnitus , he said that it have no perfect cure and hence it will remain . I did a course for 40 days but it was only temporarily effective .

Same case is with me Patrick .. i have even taken up some courses but my tinnitus remains .

I do try to ignore it as much as possible but it reduce my efficiency .

Well i hope it gets better . And best of luck to you as well
