im below 35. doc said im going through early menopause.
however, my prolactin levels were 30. and in brackets it says the normal range for menopausal women is 1-22. for non menopausal is 3-30.
does that mean in mot menopausal? or does it mean its slightly higher?
also, my homocysteine was slight high. 20 with normal ranges 2-14.
does that mean ill need anti thrombosis meds during HRT?
is homocysteine also triggered by pituitary?
Hi evaMisty, those so called normal hormone ranges are only guidelines as every single woman is different. It is probably the loss of one of your other hormones has triggered it. At the end of the day it only takes one of the many hormones we have to be out of sync and the others go into panic mode to try and compensate which in turn causes all the horrid symptoms we suffer with. Get your dr to explain why they say you have gone into menopause then you can talk to them about what treatments are available to you and what vitamin supplements you should be taking to help you through. Hope you get sorted soon hun. XXX
hi,it looks like i have thrombophilia so i need to take anticoagulants as well alongside HRT. also i need to undergo expensive dna testing before they take my eggs, as they think i have a rare chromosomal disorder called fragile x.
im quite tired to be honest. tests, doctors, bills. and all the doctors i meet and the technicians etc they look at me feeling pitty for me for going through menopause at 30. and it makes me feel even worse about myself.
and i had to quit my job to do all these testing.
bleh.
