Just curious if high prolactin levels can cause weight gain.

Thank you for your response. I've been doing some research since I've been told I have high levels of prolactin. Looking back on my weight history within a few months i gained about 30 pounds. I first started like ten pounds within a month then twenty with the next few months. Been fluctuating ever since and that was 3 years ago. I hope when this get a straightened out it will drop some.
Am noticing a weight drop since I've been off the medicine risperidone and my prolactin levels have dropped off some. Still elevated and gonna get MRI but am losing some weight.
