I have hip aching issues all my life. My right hip down my right thigh hurts 365, 24 his a day. Worse when dping yard work or change in weather. I have multiple xrays, mri, nerve tests and all come back ok. I have also tried shots in my hip area and that didn't help. The doctors have no other options for me. I am at a loss. Haso anyone else had this issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

First of all, I'm really sorry to read about all the pain you've had to go through.
Unfortunately, I can't provide any help or advice because I'm in a similar situation myself to be honest. Mine started about three years ago, the first time I had to go to A&E because I was literally screaming in agony - at the hospital, I was given mass amounts of pain relief then just sent home..
I have had various episodes over the past couple of years, each lasts a couple of weeks to a month. Then it disappears without a trace, only to return a few months later. The most recent episode (two weeks ago), the pain was so excruciating that I had to be prescribed liquid morphine. Even then, the pain didn't subside unless I took additional mediciation as well.
Similar to yourself, I've had x-rays, MRIs, cortisone injections and arthrograms... All to no avail... All doctors saying that they can't find anything out of the ordinary.
On the 9th of June, they're sending me to pain clinic so I will let you know what they say.

I'm sorry to hear about your long term pain. This must be so draining for you. If the doctors cannot find a reason then I think it is time to go to a proper chiropractor to check you out.
Many unresolved pain problems can be traced to one's back so this is why I'm suggesting you seek this specialist help now.

Just an update. The other day I had an MRI done on my lower back. Results came back showing that I had 2 bulging disc and a compressed nerve on my right side. Now I am being referred to a spine specialist to see what he has to say. More to come.
It is good that you have some answers to your pain even if it is difficult news.

So the 2 bulging disc's that I was told I have, the Spine Surgeon said it is not a bulging disc. So he referred me to a pain management doc. He gave me 2 shots in my lower right side of my back last week to help with inflamation. So far, this hasn't helped a bit, but holding out hope. Not sure what the next steps are, but I go back next week for a follow-up.
