Got my date for my hip op in 2 weeks time , am I looking forward to it ? yes & no , only my fibro is playing up , and I now have a sore throat and burning ears , so am hoping it all goes away in time !!!!!!!!

To think hopefully you may get a reprieve from the worst of pain initially with pain medication probably the morphine which will dull all aches and pain for a bit. Till you are taken off it. Cannot live on the Morphine! When I have had my surgeries Morphine has dulled all my pain. Still stiff, but NO pain.. lol.... then bam once Morphine gone, back to square one. However you will eventually suffer a lot less pain with improved Hip business!! yaye.. All the best. Sore throat and burning ears are a sign of heightened stress into Fibro flares, or either an infection to. Don't get run down... Think Positively.. and you'l be fine!! honestly... take care now.. chin up. xx
