My wound is still.leaking at the bottom 13 days in after a hip.replacement will.not let me home

I suppose it can happen but they are obviously keeping you in until they are happy with the situation so just try to relax.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Is it an infection you have? Is it easing off at all? I do hope you get to go home real soon. I felt much better once i got home.

I only hope whatever my surgeon decides to do isn't too painful! Fingers crossed for us both! ❤️

Pauline, so sorry to read that, it is awful you have had to stay in so long especially after reading how other people are home after a couple of days. I really hope your wound now starts to heal more quickly and you can feel the benefit of your new hip.

Sorry to hear this. I wonder why.

I had some sort of glue on my wounds. Hope they can sort for you. At least you’re in the best place and being cared for 24/7 x

You must be feeling pretty low. Remember your in the right place ? Infected or just leaking ? Has it been packed or a drain or a dressing.

Hope it sorts itself out soon and your in your own home.

I’m three weeks post op heading to nurse to have my dressing changed today due to the glue used.
