Good luck to you Gloria. So sorry you had these problems.
I'm 67 and also had bad luck by a doctor botched THR 5 years ago and it does change your life.
I was able to have my surgery redone by a more capable doctor and am now doing better.
Thank you to answerd and happy that you find a Dr that help you in my case was 2 surgery at the same day what the Drs call revision was done after he realize that the femur was broke he has to take all the implants and start like he is doing a revision I have the longest steam that can be I went to see another Dr and he want to help because I have already a revision he cannot due anything else and them the attorney sound like he has sell himself to the defense the 3 companies are milliners companies with ins that pass the 10 millions dollars each of them and they do not want to pay I live in Pensacola Fl
It is frustrating when an operation like this doesn't go well.
I also live in Florida, but when I realized what really happened, it was too late to sue (2 year window , and I was pushed into all kinds of phyical therapy at that time.)
No I'm not happy with the doctors I had. Also have the longest stem.
I was a very active person also.
My leg is now better, but will never be what it could have been. Was redone in January of this year.
dear gloria,
warm welcome to the hippies forum ...
I am so sorry to hear of the ongoing problems you hae and the pain you are in and I am not sure what to say ...
Could it be a case of malpractice ? maybe the surgeon did not do a good job with this device?
Good luck and May the right person coe in to your life who can help you ...
